SCIENCE PUB QUIZ
We are happy to offer a very special QSEC2022 edition of the Science Pub Quiz as part of our Social Program. The Science Pub Quiz will be hosted by Lisa Ringena and Nikolas Liebster. Everyone can participate!

EXCURSIONS
TOUR I: BOAT TRIP ON THE RHINE
DATE: Wednesday, November 16 (afternoon)
DURATION: approx. 2,5h
The winter cruise will take you from Bingen -Rüdesheim-Assmannshausen-Lorch and back. You can enjoy beautiful sights along the way and enjoy some drinks or coffee/cake on board. (Please note that any consumption on board is not included and has to be covered by yourselves).
TOUR II: GUIDED CITY TOUR BINGEN
DATE: Wednesday, November 16 (afternoon)
DURATION: 1 ½ hours
Guided tour through the old town and visit to Klopp Castle, Basilica of St. Martin, the Food Market and many more interesting and important squares and alleys in Bingen.
TOUR III: HIKING TRIP
DATE: Wednesday, November 16 (afternoon)
DURATION: 3-4 hours (including ferry passage from Bingen-Rüdesheim-Bingen)
Hildegard of Bingen Trail (6,7km)
The 6.7km footpath takes a circular route through the vineyards of Rüdesheim to the pilgrimage church of Eibingen and the benedictine Abbey of St. Hildegard. Points of interest and panoramic views along the way offer you insights into the life of Hildegard of Bingen and the landscape as she knew it.

Please note that the hiking tour depends on the weather conditions. Suitable walking shoes are required. The tour includes steep uphill passages.
CONFERENCE DINNER
The Conference Dinner provides an opportunity for the participants to relax and enjoy meeting outside the scientific programme. Please note that the Conference Dinner is already included in the registration fee.
